In the well with God
A certain care-free young boy who was walking through a field on a sunny day, fell into a well. However, he was not hurt. His mother came running but was unable to extricate him from the well. She stood at the mouth of the well. Fearing that her son might be worried, she did her best to comfort him. Sensing his mother’s anxiety, the little boy said to her, “Mother, do not worry! I was talking to God when I fell and we fell into this well together.”
How comforting, when in the furnace of affliction, to know that He is there with us too!

I love that! Amen!
Thank you!
How wonderful,He is with us through thick and thin!!
Amen!
As we all did
God bless!
Beautifully expressed. We all find HIM with us, especially in the deep wells. even though we may forget to speak to him often or listen to him at all.
That’s really beautiful…
The child-like spirit here. Never at a distance from the Father’s presence. Never taking Him out of the mix. http://justhappeneduponthis.wordpress.com/2012/07/02/saturday-at-the-farmers-market/
You have a wonderful blog…
“Mother, do not worry! I was talking to God when I fell and we fell into this well together.”
Seeing that he was bleeding she asked why God did not save him in the first place
“Mother! All things happen in God’s hands for a reason”
“You were not looking where you were going,” she replied noticing his face paling.
“Mother! You question things that should not be questioned…” And then he died.
Reading a book while travelling thru life does not bode well for this world.

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. Isaiah 26:3
Thanks for the Isaiah 26:3 reminder… Really appreciate it.
Daniel in the lions den. God’s the same yesterday, today and forever.
The person being comfort turned around and comfort the person that was giving it. It’s good to not think of yourself all the time.
Thanks for liking the post. Blessings!
